Research Interests: Second language acquisition, tone and intonation, and computer-assisted language learning (CALL).

Adding the applied linguistics has helped me to understand second language acquisition. It also helped me to develop online training modules that meet the students’ needs in my current research involving teaching English intonation to Chinese learners.
